Dana McGlynn has been teaching fitness in the G.T.A for the last fifteen years. She first began teaching fitness while attending York University at Recreation York. In 1995 she became became a certified instructor with the Ontario Fitness Councel. She still maintains this certification today and is a Gold member. Over the years Dana has taught a variety of different styles of classes including: Cardio dance, Step, Body Sculpting, Aquafit, Pilates and Yoga. She completed her three years of Yoga training at Esther Myers Yoga Studio in Toronto in 2010 and also became a Yoga Alliance certified instructor. Later that year she also completed the C.N.H.P. program at the Institute of Aromatherapy. Most recently she has begun training to teach Bellyfit, which is a new class designed just for women that offers a variety of different styles of fitness including: Belly dancing, Africain dance, Bollywood, Pilates and Yoga. Besides teaching fitness Dana works part time as a skin care writer for examiner and offers reflexology treatments with aromatherapy oils. She also works part time as a fitness model.
