Many people who profess Christianity do not truly know the Lord Jesus Christ. They read about Him in the bible, they attend church gatherings, they hear about Him from pastors, teachers and other church leaders. Some do good works, and even say they minister in His name. But they have never grown in their personal relationship with Him. In Matt. 7:21-23, the Lord Jesus says " Not everyone that saith unto Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name, and in Thy name have cast out devils, and in Thy Name done many wonderful things? And then I will profess unto them - I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity. Without knowing the Lord Jesus Christ, you cant enter the kingdom of heaven and inherit eternal life.
